Kondase keskus

Hoone, kus Kondase keskus asub on rajatud aastal 1895. Algselt loodi maja pastoraadi hooneks ehk siis seal elas ja töötas kiriukuõpetaja. Selline kasutus oli tal kuni aastani 1948, mil seal hakkas tööle Viljandi keskraamatukogu. Raamatukogu oli seal aastani 2002 ning 2003. aastal sai sellest Kondase keskus. Keskus ise on pühendatud Paul Kondasele (1900-1985), kes oli Eesti üks tuntumaid naiviste. Püsinäitusel on võimalik näha tema maaliloomingut, lisaks sellele on üleval ka rändnäitusi ning hoones korraldatakse ka üritusi. Maja ise on ilus ning tõmbab ligi turiste.

The building where Kondase center is located was built in 1895. At first the building was used by pastorage, it means that reverend lived and worked in there. The building had this kind of use until 1948, then Viljandi libary started working in there. Libary was opened until 2002 and in 2003 it was opened as Kondase center. The center is dedicated to Paul Kondas (1900-1985) who was one of the most famous Estonian naivists'. In the permanent exhibition you can see his paintings, also there are other exhibitions and all kinds of events take place in there. All in all the building is beautiful and attracts tourist.
